Shawn Rider

Shawn is the Editor in Chief of GamesFirst! and has been with the site since 1998. He is currently occupied as a Web Technologist for PBS TeacherLine. Shawn also recently served as an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Media Study, SUNY at Buffalo, where he teaches courses ranging from new media design to critical approaches to videogames. Shawn has also written for Sync Magazine, Intelligent Agent, The Squealer, and various other websites and publications. His artwork has been featured online at Rhizome.org and the Toronto Images 2005 Online Festival, as well as in galleries and exhibitions such as Beyond/In Western New York 2005 (Burchfield-Penny Gallery, Buffalo), Hallwalls Contemporary Art Gallery (Buffalo), InterAccess Electronic Media Arts Centre (Toronto), and the Carnegie Art Center North Tonawanda (New York).
