The Xbox 360 price drop has been made official. As of August 8, 2007, you'll be able to get the Premium Xbox 360 for $349.99, the Core for $270.00 and the Elite for $449.99. Even though we knew this was coming since before E3, it's nice to know it's officially official and not officially rumor.
Halo 3 will not be bundled in the Halo 3 Special Edition when it launches in September, although it would have been a good idea. The console will be priced at $399.99, the same as a pre-price-drop Premium 360. It features a kind of metallic green with metallic orange trim. Here are the features:
