So here\'s some news to brighten your day. Over in London Capcom just dropped a megaton with the revelation of Street Fighter IV, the first true sequel to the epic fighter series in a decade. Many gamers see their SF skills as a point of pride, and we may be set to enter a whole new era of trash talking.

As reported by 1UP, across the giant puddle at a Capcom Gamers Day in London, Capcom just made a lot of dreams come true. One of the most treasured fighting franchises of all time is about to be resurrected in Street Fighter IV. A recent countdown on Capcom's community website had the rumor mill buzzing with megaton theories, and now we know.

Unfortunately there is practically no information available beyond the title and of course a sweet teaser trailer featuring Ryu and Ken duking it out. Prepare yourself, then bounce over to 1UP to check it out. Capcom has yet to name what platforms it will be on, or a possible release date.

Many gamers have already been brushing up on their Street Fighter skills via Xbox Live and Wii's Virtual Console. But with Capcom being tight-lipped and only giving us a trailer so far, we may be in for a long wait.
