Word comes today from 2K Games that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, the highly anticipated Xbox 360 RPG, will finally release on March 20, 2006. Gamers have been waiting for the sequel to Morrowind almost since the release of the original title, and many were disappointed when the game was pushed from the Xbox 360 launch lineup. Oblivion will also release for PC on the same day.
Oblivion is an open-ended single player role-playing game that allows users to explore a gargantuan, seamless world in any fashion they choose. The game features an all-star lineup of voice actors, as well as some impressive next-generation graphics. Xbox 360 owners can get a peek at the HD quality graphics by downloading the recently released Oblivion trailer from Xbox Live Marketplace.
