Sony's Everquest 2 (EQ2) is one of the most popular and iconic massively-multiplayer role-playing games. EQ2 has over 13 thousand players in affected areas, and the company has stated that they will not bill or delete the accounts of their Gulf Coast players until such time as they can begin playing again. In addition, many of the items in EQ2 decay over time, and SOE has stated that they will preserve the inventories of all affected players as-is.
