E3 is nearly here, and there is more to anticipate than the new Halo trailer. This may be a year of true innovation. New consoles, re-imagined controllers, anything is possible. The Xbox 360 is prime for innovation as it grows. It is connected to your friends, your PC, your home, and at E3 this year we will certainly get a glimpse of things to come.
game: Metal Gear Ac!d 2

Metal Gear Ac!d 2 is another iteration of the card and tile, turn-based take on the fan-favorite stealth action series. The first iteration of Ac!d was not exactly a hit (then again, it\'s still one of the few titles created exclusively for the system). How does Ac!d 2 improve its game? It improves it with completely \"non-gimmicky\" additions like PS2 connectivity and an \"amazing\" 3D viewer that is guaranteed to cramp you up and give you a headache. Konami\'s World Soccer Winning Eleven Nine is one of those long-standing genre leaders: Any fan of the videogame \"footie,\" or soccer as we call it in the US, knows that the Winning Eleven series is one of the best titles out there. The new PSP version of Winning Eleven Nine offers just about everything you\'d expect, which means that if you\'re in the market for a soccer title, you can now get your fix with your fave series. Nintendo announced on Tuesday that they would partner with McDonald\'s restaurants to provide free wifi access for Nintendo DS owners. McDonald\'s already offers wifi connectivity in 6000 locations in America, but normally charges for internet access. The deal with Nintendo provides free access to gamers using the DS. The free access, coupled with popular wifi-enabled titles like Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing DS, could be a genuine attractor for kids, making McDonald\'s a popular hangout.

One of the promises of the Dreamcast was Internet connectivity right out of the box. Sega realized early on that consumers not only want to game online, but to have easy access to web sites, email, and the plethora of applications that have made the Internet and the World Wide Web so attractive. Indeed, right out of the box users could plug their new Dreamcast into the wall and get online with a few quick clicks. While the Dreamcast Web Browser 1.0 wasn't fully functional on the contemporary network, everything worked pretty well. Within a short time you could download mods for Sonic Adventure, check out the questionable content provided by IGN, kings of the misguided headline, and, most importantly, access the external web and email. Odds are, some of you are reading this article on your Dreamcast right now, so you know what I mean. Hopefully you're using the 2.0 browser, which now supports Flash and MP3s.
