From Software Cancels PS3 Titles?
news | 08/09/06 | Chris Martin
TVG reported today that that From Software, the developer responsible for Chromehounds on the Xbox 360, but better known for the Armored Core series, has told Famitsu they have stopped production on two games for the PS3: Dark RPG and Black Blade. Whether these titles would even have been released stateside is up in the air, From Software has not given reasons for stopping production (too difficult to develop for or higher production costs are notorious forum rumors).

Galactic Civilizations II Review: Dread Lords?! $#!t, there goes the planet...
game: Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords
review | 04/07/06 | Chris Martin
Since we first saw Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords at E3 2005, we were hooked. Ready to take on the universe, so to speak, to get our grubby hands on a copy. We got our preview build a while back. But now we have the final product; does it blow our socks into the black nothingness of space, or leave us as cold as Pluto? Find out inside Chris Martin\'s review.

Gun Porn Without the Satisfying Climax
game: Black
review | 03/02/06 | Tristan Mayshark
The time of console transition can be difficult, especially when it seems so clear that there is still life left in the current generation. Great proof of that untapped potential comes in the form of Black, out now from developer Criterion and Electronic Arts. Black arrives at the end of the current generation, but still delivers overwhelming graphics, sexy firearms, big explosions, and bigger explosions. But is shrapnel and pretty lighting effects enough to make gamers go for an FPS with no multiplayer? Check Tristan\'s review for the verdict.

Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow
game: Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow
review | 09/17/04 | Aaron Stanton
There are few publishers that can claim to equal Ubisoft in terms of supporting their Xbox games on LIVE. Between downloadable content and semi-sequel game releases for the fans that can't get enough, Ubisoft has provided a string of extra content for pretty much every Clancy game they've released. Now, there's Black Arrow, basically the old Rainbow Six 3 with new maps, split screen, and some tweaked gameplay. But is it good? Not as good as you would hope. Read about it here.

Fugitive Hunter
game: Fugitive Hunter
review | 01/11/04 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Fugitive Hunter: War on Terror, is a terribly crafted FPS by any gameplay standard: horribly bland graphics, lame and choppy gameplay, the list goes on. In short, this swill isn't worth playing if you get it for free. From a rhetorical standpoint, Fugitive Hunter is propaganda of the worst sort, and reeks of McCarthy-era brutality and ignorance. The game is a must miss, but the review is a must read, as Steffan Ralph DelPiano explores the disturbing implications of Fugitive Hunter: War on Terror.

X-Files: Resist or Serve Preview
game: X-Files: Resist or Serve
preview | 04/20/03 | Matt James
That gorgeous mug at right can only mean one thing: another X-Files game. X-Files: Resist or Serve should be a worthy adaptation, mainly because veteran developer Black Ops is taking the title in what sounds like the perfect direction: a third-person action narrative focusing on spooking the alien mind control oil right out of you. Icewind Dale II Review (PC)
game: Icewind Dale II
review | 10/16/02 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Interplay brings us the last RPG to use the Infinity engine. A bit of silence is in order. OK, now we can make a whole lot of noise about Icewind Dale II. Utilizing the Third Edition AD&D rules set, it isn\'t the prettiest RPG out there, but it is one of the biggest and best. Click here.

Men In Black II: Alien Escape Review
game: Men In Black II: Alien Escape
review | 07/25/02 | Eric Qualls
Following the summer blockbuster, Men in Black II: Alien Escape succeeds in creating a fairly entertaining, if a bit mindless and way short, interactive MIB adventure. Control agents J and K as they make the planet a bit safer for gamers like us. Click here.

game: Pirates: The Legend of Black Kat
review | 05/29/02 | Aaron Stanton
Aaron got his turn on Pirates: The Legend of Black Kat, this time on the Xbox, and his evaluation is pretty much the same as Jeremy\'s opinion of the PS2 version. How can you have a scene like the one at right and not have more of a sense of humor in your game? Click.
