Featuring nearly every ship from every series and many different famous battles from Trek history, this is definitely one for the die hard fans. Ubisoft\'s Blazing Angels has a lot to overcome: It\'s another WWII game, and there was a little game for the original Xbox called Crimson Skies that made \"a bit\" of a splash. Fortunately, it has some spectacular graphics, and the air combat focus opens up parts of the war that are generally not exploited. Still, there are some flaws, and Blazing Angels has proven to be a tricky evaluation for our man, Matt. Check out his review here.

E3 is nearly here, and there is more to anticipate than the new Halo trailer. This may be a year of true innovation. New consoles, re-imagined controllers, anything is possible. The Xbox 360 is prime for innovation as it grows. It is connected to your friends, your PC, your home, and at E3 this year we will certainly get a glimpse of things to come.

Atari has announced that yet another title is under development for the Nintendo Revolution, this time a Dragon Ball Z game. In a press release earlier this morning, Atari announced Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 for the Revolution, saying that, \"The... controller featured with Nintendo Revolution is perfectly suited for Dragon Ball Z... which engages players with fast-paced fighting moves.\" Dragon Ball Z games on the current generation have mixed fighting with RPG elements to varying degrees of success. We\'ll see how that translates onto Nintendo\'s new platform.

early a year, Twoplayer Comic\'s original artist is leaving GamesFirst and moving on to other projects. Noah Kroese\'s distinctive artwork and sense of humor have helped define TP comics as it exists today, and we wish him the best. Twoplayer will certainly feel his loss. Today\'s TP comic will be the last with Noah at the artistic reins, and the beginning of our search for an artist worthy of taking his place. Check out the final Twoplayer Comic by Noah Kroese, named after one of the Internet\'s most annoying aspects: Forum Boys. Best of luck, Noah.

Back in the early day of the PS2, Rockstar followed up their blockbuster GTA3 with State of Emergency, a game widely rumored to be based on the WTO riots in Seattle that put you in the middle of giant marauding crowds bent on destroying the man. SOE featured an innovative game engine that allowed for previously unheard of numbers of characters on-screen as well as a locational damage/weapon engine that allowed you to rip off body parts and use them to beat down new victims. Guilty Gear Dust Strikers is gearing up for a March 1 release from Majesco. Building on the success of previous incarnations of the 2D fighter genre, the game features 21 Guilty Gear characters, most from previous games. In addition, there are six modes of gameplay, bringing plenty of gameplay. Further enhancements for the DS version of Guilty Gear include four player WiFi multiplayer and seven games designed to work with the DS touch screen. Still not enough? Beta signups are now open for the upcoming sci-fi MMORPG, Seed. Seed puts you in the role of a colonist settling the tense, perilous planet Da Vinci. A unique cel-shaded visual approach gives Seed the feeling of a graphic novel, and all of the in-game information is designed to uphold this comic book feel: Speech is shown in dialogue bubbles, and the screen is broken into panels. Gameplay is unique, too, focusing on character development and dynamically generated stories that are created for each individual player according to their style. The website for the Xbox 360 modchip known as LiThIuM I.C.E. went live in the early hours of January 7th, 2006. While there\'s nothing there yet to cast much additional light on the chip or its creators, one comment on the site does include a date: January 31st, 2006. Is this the release date, or an extension of the two-week pre-order date mentioned on InfinityMods.com? It\'s hard to say. The site also includes information on the chip\'s development time-line, and reseller policies. We\'re all holding our breaths waiting for the site to finish launching, and we\'ll keep you posted.

Last week, we here at GamesFirst published a side-by-side comparison of King Kong on the Xbox and Xbox 360. By looking at nearly identical games, it\'s interesting to see the graphical differences between the two. However, the Xbox 360\'s major differences are in the ability to render dynamic lighting and environmental effects, which are difficult to see in static screenshots. As a result, we\'ve redone the article using side-by-side video capture from each system. The differences are both more obvious, in the cases when a difference is visible, and more underwhelming, when certain key scenes are difficult to distinguish between the two. Take a look, and decide for yourself.
