Mythic Entertainment Announces First Official Gathering for Players of
Dark Age of Camelot

Players and developers to meet in
Washington D.C. June 29th 2002

FAIRFAX, VA - APRIL 12th, 2002 - Mythic Entertainment , creator of the award winning massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Dark Age of Camelot, today announced it will be holding its first official gathering for players in Washington D.C. on June 29th 2002. Dark Age of Camelot is developed by Mythic Entertainment and co-published with Abandon Entertainment.

Players will gather to hear presentations from members of the Dark Age of Camelot development team and have an opportunity to meet fellow players face to face. The day will include plenty of time for questions and answers, and Mythic will reveal previously unannounced details regarding the future of Dark Age of Camelot. This will be the first opportunity hosted by Mythic for players to meet their online friends and guild mates in person.

"We are excited about this first real chance to meet and discuss the game and its future in person with players," said Mark Jacobs, President of Mythic Entertainment. "It's the players that have embraced the game and helped make it the fastest selling MMORPG to date, and we look forward to meet them face-to-face, answering their questions, and thanking them for supporting Camelot."

Players interested in receiving more information can sign-up at The Camelot Herald, Mythic's Dark Age of Camelot community website.
