Get a Little Gore from Your PSP with God of War: Chains of Olympus
game: God of War: Chains of Olympus
review | 03/31/08 | Shawn Rider
Everyone\'s favorite bloodthirsty Spartan is back, and, as usual, he\'s pissed. In this prequel to the other two God of War titles, you\'ll help Kratos save the planet from eternal darkness. God of War: Chains of Olympus delivers the same insane action and impeccable quality of the previous PlayStation 2 editions, and that is an accomplishment for a title with both a brand new developer (the capable Ready at Dawn) and a brand new console. This is the best reason so far to blow the dust off your PSP. Check out our review.

news | 11/19/07 | Monica Hafer
E For All made its debut last month, attempting to be the more democratic, \"everyman\'s\" convention in the videogame industry. While its stature was smaller than E3 had been in the past, it certainly had a heck of a lot of heart. Monica was our eyes and ears on the scene of what might be the herald of a new focus in the world of game marketing and development.

Kroes to Microsoft: 'I Will Not Tolerate Repeated Non-Compliance'
news | 09/18/07 | Chris Martin
While we here in Seattle get to watch the Mariners crumble in what was a pretty decent year, we also get front page Microsoft news, regularly. Today, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported that the European Court of First Instance, in a move upholding key elements of the March 2004 European Commission Decision, declared the American company responsible for misusing it\'s Windows monopoly. Specifically, the company packages Windows Media Player with their Windows software, a la trojan horse, allowing market dominance of the software. Microsoft to EU court: \"the decision on the Media Player opens a dangerous precedent for other companies and sectors. Airbus should start worrying about adding new features to their planes.\"

Will the 'Station Rumble Soon?
editorial | 09/17/07 | Chris Martin
This article came by way of news.com/onearticle.x/48978\"" onClick="window.open( this.href, '_self' ); return false;" title="">Shacknews, but originated from news/17-09-2007-6461.html\"" onClick="window.open( this.href, '_self' ); return false;" title="">Pro-G who reported (citing some insider info) that Sony is likely to announce at TGS a new Dual Shock (we are only on #2, at this point) in an effort to cover their bloodied SIXAXIS tracks right into your living room. The rumored \"update\" looks an attempt to curb the potty mouths of internet users and Sony bashers everywhere, and comes hot off negotiations with rumble manufacturers (and patent holders) Immersion. And it\'s about damn time, since the PlayStation pioneered rumble anyway. Now that rumble is being reconsidered in the PS3, is it enough? Will it be enough? We give our two cents.

For a game to share a name with the hometown of a certain caped crusader and to become one of Microsoft\'s flagship series is kind of mindboggling. Project Gotham Racing 4 has become the place to go for mostly arcade, semi-simulation racing. It\'s a game about looking good while winning, and in the fourth iteration, Bizarre has added some features to make you look even better. This game is looking gorgeous, and we can\'t wait for it to get here. In the meanwhile, here are some pics from the new \"Photo Mode\" and some very sexy pics at that.
