game: The Simpsons Game
review | 04/06/08 | Shawn Rider
The Simpsons are a perennial videogame topic. Many of the games created in the franchise are utterly forgettable. (Anyone up for a round of Simpsons Wrestling? Didn\'t think so...) But there have been a few well-done Simpsons games: Simpsons Hit and Run (a GTA clone) and The Simpsons Road Rage (a Crazy Taxi clone) were both enjoyable. The Simpsons Game isn\'t a direct rip-off of any particular game. It sticks to a platform/action approach and uses the whole world of videogames for its satirical fodder. The result is a Simpsons game that may be slightly less polished in terms of gameplay but is easily the game that feels most like a real Simpsons episode. Check out our review for more.
game: Rumble Roses XX
review | 05/15/06 | Tristan Mayshark
There aren\'t a lot of choices for wrestling games on the Xbox 360 right now, and it would be debatable to claim that Rumble Roses XX fills the niche to the exclusion of other attempts. Rumble Roses is to booty what the DOA series is to chesty-ness. If the previous sentence makes sense in a positive way, then Rumble Roses is probably for you. But if it seems a bit \"pervy\" to play games where a primary focus is ogling the animated characters in a sexual way, then you might want to be satisfied merely reading Tristan\'s review. Check it out here.
game: SmackDown Vs. RAW 2006
review | 01/24/06 | Matt James
SmackDown Vs. RAW 2006 on the PSP is almost identical to its PS2 counterpart: The graphics are quite nice, the control remains enjoyable, and the full depth of play is retained. Including loads of wrestlers, some great WiFi multiplayer, and a management mode that adds a whole new layer to the wrestling game, SmackDown Vs. RAW 2006 is a must-play for portable-gaming wrestling fans. Get the full review from Matt James right here.
game: WWE Day of Reckoning 2
review | 10/16/05 | Chris Martin
We got Chris Martin\'s skinny butt in the ring with WWE Day of Reckoning 2 for the GameCube, and, oddly enough, he came out with a weird afterglow that made him forget about all the bruises and mat burns. Day of Reckoning 2 is pretty much a \"bigger, better, more\" improvement over its predecessor, and veteran in-the-ring game developer, Yuke\'s Media Creations, really brings it with a game good enough to make non-wrestling fans want to play it. Check out the review here.

game: WWE Wrestlemania 21
review | 08/20/05 | Eric Bodrero
It seems at least once or twice a year we get a new wrestling game, which is great for fans, but what does WWE Wrestlemania 21 have over the countless other wrestling games? Find out if it has what it takes to pin the competition, or if it gets hurled from the top turnbuckle.
game: WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw
review | 12/09/04 | Eric Qualls
WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw is THQ's latest 'rasslin title for the PS2. Some of its most talked about features don't quite live up to the hype, but the gameplay is better than ever and that is what counts. Find out what went right and what went horribly, horribly wrong in our full review.
game: Zero Gravity Zone
review | 12/09/03 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
When it comes to the GBA, Gamesfirst reviewer Jason Frank is a living legend. Some people say he was born with a GBA in his hand. Many say he won his GBA atop Mt. Olympus in an oiled-up, blindfolded submission wrestling match with Zeus. Others say he got it at Target. All I know is that he takes on Rocket Power: Zero Gravity Zone, the latest in GBA skateboarding, right here right now. Click here to watch the master work.
game: WWE Raw 2
review | 11/01/03 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
The spectacle that is pro-wrestling finds its way to the Xbox via WWE Raw 2. All the characters are here along with oodles of game options, but does this title deliver the whole package or go down for the count? Jeremy tells it like it is right here.
game: Wrestle Mania XIX
review | 10/16/03 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
THQ's WWE WrestleMania XIX features a solid wrestling engine and some decent multiplayer action, but it's all downhill from there because they forgot to add the WWE to their WWE WrestleMania. From the top rope, Eric drops a flying rhetorical elbow right here.
game: WWE Road to Wrestlemania X8
review | 12/22/02 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Certainly the most horrible wrestling game we\'ve played this year, WWE Road to Wrestlemania X8 is a stinker that no wrestling fan wants to find in their stocking. Bad animation and bad controls ruin this game, although the retro Mortal Kombat vibe is kind of cool. Click here.
game: WWE Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth
review | 12/01/02 | Eric Qualls
THQ and Yukes has done a number on the Smackdown series. After the disappointment of Just Bring It last year, WWE Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth restores the franchise to its original glory. The season mode is great, graphics are seriously improved, and the wrestling has undergone some minor changes to make it a lot better. Click!
game: Wrestlemania XB
review | 08/01/02 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
We\'re back! And we\'ve brought you a big, steaming helping of some extreme reviews. The newly dubbed \"WWE\" makes its debut on your Gamecube, and wrestling fans should be amped. game: World Wrestling Raw 2
preview | 06/03/02 | Shawn Rider
And rounding out the big console wrestling push is Raw 2. After a disappointing debut on the Xbox, this series has a lot of making up to do. Fortunately, the folks at THQ and Anchor are up to the task. Lots of improvements await. Click here.
game: World Wrestling Wrestlemania X8
preview | 06/03/02 | Shawn Rider
Gamecube owners don\'t feel left out. You\'re getting your very own World Wrestling franchise with Wrestlemania X8. Sporting 35 playable wrestlers, 35 match types, and several arenas (Raw, Smackdown, Survivor Series, Wrestlemania, and Summer Slam), this should pack more than a punch. Click here for more.
