2 New Demos on Live: Eternal Sonata and Vampire Rain
news | 08/07/07 | Chris Martin
Just arrived on Xbox Live today are two new demos. Eternal Sonata from Namco Bandai is likely to satisfy all those eager for a JRPG on Microsoft\'s console, and Vampire Rain, which is, something else entirely. I personally am excited for Eternal Sonata, as I haven\'t played a JRPG in some time and it looks fantastic from previews. I\'m less excited for the universally panned Vampire Rain, where you\'re an elite special forces unit sent to thin out the vampire ranks. Impressions forthcoming.

Lunar Knights Review
game: Lunar Knights
review | 05/10/07 | Amanda Bateman
In Lunar Knights, you take control of two different heroes, Lucian and Aaron, one powered by the sun, one powered by the moon, in an attempt to free the world from the vampiric legion. If you are familiar with the Vampire Hunter (Baktai GBA) series, you\'re already familiar with Lunar Knights. It is, however, Kojima Productions\' first foray on the Nintendo DS, and it\'s one worth a look.

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin Review
game: Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
review | 04/06/07 | Amanda Bateman
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. In Portrait of Ruin, a picture is full of a thousand demons. A thousand demons about to be cut down by whips and giant crosses, that is. In the second Castlevania title for the Nintendo DS, take control of two characters and get ready to tangle with Dracula. While very much in line with the rest of the series, there are a few surprises herein for fans of the series. Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin might be right up your alley if you\'re in the mood for a good adventure game, a few puzzles, and lots of bosses.

What do ninjas, talking cats, vampires, the mafia, shapeshifters, aliens, guitar players, monsters, and a sixteen year-old boy all have in common? A lot if we\'re talking about Shadow Hearts\' latest sequel. XSEED\'s Shadow Hearts: From the New World is both like and not like your usual run-of-the-mill RPG. We got Amanda to check it out, and she handed us this review. Check it out.

Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines
game: Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines
review | 12/07/04 | Jason Frank
With deep characters, extreme depth of play, and a strong, dark atmosphere, Bloodlines is a near perfect game... if you can get it running, that is. Do technical glitches bring this gem down? Jason takes us through the role-playing sweetness of the undead, where how you play, what you play as, and who you snack on are all just matters of personal taste.

review | 08/26/03 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Our favorite teeny-bopper vampire hunter is back for more in handheld form. Unfortunately, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Wrath of the Darkhul King won't erase your bad memories of the original Buffy GBC title. The graphics are better, but this title is still thoroughly at-par. Click here for more.

INTERVIEW - Niel Wiser, President & Founder of UltraPrime Network

The Evolvers: A well selected name for what could constitute an entirely new perspective on massively multiplayer gaming. For years there have been videogames that have attempted to mimic the look and feel of Hollywood: vampire slayers, star trekkers, bounty hunters “ slews of voice actors trying to mimic other people in the name of a good videogame. It's amazing how rarely they succeed. Similarly, there are times when storylines built with the controls of a console or played out on the screen of the PC are used to produce a feature film. Resident Evil. Final Fantasy.

BloodRayne
game: BloodRayne
review | 12/20/02 | Shawn Rider
Majesco\'s big fall title is a sultry little adventure game called BloodRayne. Half-human, half-vampire, and all woman, agent BloodRayne slaughters mutated zombies and Nazis at the same time. It\'s gorey, fun to play, and full of B grade horror goodness. Not for everyone, if this is your thing, you\'ll really love it. Click here.
