Planes, Trains and...Trotmobiles? Steambot Chronicles Review
game: Steambot Chronicles
review | 05/29/06 | Amanda Bateman
Steambot Chronicles is the newest Atlus release for the PS2, allowing players to do anything from farming to ferrying to fighting, all on the back of a two-legged transport robot called a Trotmobile. This is definitely not your traditional console roleplaying game. Non-linear gameplay and amazing diversity of things to do has kept our gal, Amanda, busy defeating evil and buskering for UR. One of the most beloved strategy games of all time makes its way to the Nintendo DS. Ubicom Launches Free Network Testing Tool
news | 02/01/06 | George Holomshek
Ubicom, who made the Stream Engine chip that is used to shape your broadband traffic in the D-Link DGL4300 Gamer Lounge router, has now released a free utility to check your online playability. The OPScore utility is a quick way to get a more robust fix on your online connection speed than most bandwidth testers, but it still runs in-browser (even if that browser is IE because of the ActiveX requirements, which is whack). George has a more complete summary of what OPScore offers, plus links to the free software.

BloodRayne
game: BloodRayne
review | 01/19/04 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
PC gamers searching for an action packed gore fest need look no further. Majesco Games brings the console hit BloodRayne, complete with uber violent vampire action and sharp graphics, to the PC. But an imperfect port and very high system requirements will limit the audience. Would be undead slayers click here for the full review.

Mobile Forces Review
game: Mobile Forces
review | 10/20/02 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Majesco and Rage have teamed up to create Mobile Forces. This is a fairly basic first person shooter title with low system requirements. But Mobile Forces mixes up the action by throwing vehicles into the fray. Scooting around in a Hummer or APC is just the thing for whacking bad guys. Click here.
