With at least three other solid racing games available for the PSP, a racing title has to do something above and beyond good just to stand out on the system. Either that or something really bad. Street Supremacy is now on store shelves and begging for you to give it a go. But is that wise? Here\'s a warning: Speed walking might seem fast paced and high intensity after a few hours strolling down the streets of Supremacy. We felt so bad for Matt having to lug that big mailbag all the way up to the GF! Offices that we moved his desk into the basement where the mail drops directly. Then we forgot about him. As it turns out, Matt\'s been down there the whole time, trapped under a crate of old Atari Age magazines and sandwiched between a box of old toys and a broken Wizard of Wor machine. Aaron found Matt when he went down to fetch a couple old floppy disks we needed to shimmy up an uneven leg on our new company massage table. It was too late for Matt, but he was clutching this latest edition of the GF! Mailbag in one hand, and had used Legos to spell out something about how Jeremy still can\'t beat his Gamerscore. Game publisher Acclaim has risen from the ashes and is making a comeback. So far the publisher has two titles in the works: BOTS and 9 Dragons. BOTS is, obviously, a robot-based game which allows players to customize their metal men to their liking, purchasing new items online. These upgrades, which number in the hundreds, help make the BOTS undefeatable machines of mayhem as players compete with each other in the arena. This is the first from the company, which plans for many more. Oh, and did we mention that this is a totally FREE online game? Yep. Nintendo has steadily been releasing details about upcoming products and services that have us wondering if Big N could be the big success story of 2006. The latest news comes from a Japanese press conference in which Nintendo announced a partnership with Opera to bring a web browser to Japanese versions of the Nintendo DS. In addition to the new Internet feature, the DS will also receive broadcast TV capabilities in Japan. Of course, we\'re wondering: When will these features come to the US? Koei\'s latest historical Asian brawler is heading to PSP in the very near future. Samurai Warriors: State of War has gone gold and is in production as you read this. In addition to announcing the impending launch, Koei also sends word of a revamped website for Samurai Warriors: State of War. The new site is sized and optimized for the PSP\'s small screen web browser. That is a nice touch for PSP owners, who can browse the web with the browser included on the handheld gaming system. Happy Valentine\'s Day, dear readers. From deep within the GF! Office of Love and Videogames, we are pleased to bring you George\'s latest research, a review of LoveChess: Age of Egypt, the sequel to Dutch developer Artmunk\'s LoveChess: The Greek Era. The multiplayer here is unlikely to inspire extended sessions of sultry romance, but it\'s at least a brief diversion from watching Skinamax while playing Fritz 9. Get the full story here.

game: Age of Empires: Age of Kings

One of the most beloved strategy games of all time makes its way to the Nintendo DS. Ensemble Studios\' juggernaut PC series Age of Empires has been a long time coming, and promises to prove once and for all the value of that touch screen. While Age of Kings has obviously been modified to fit the requirements of gaming on the go, the addition of wireless multiplayer and the ability to carry the game with you anywhere should be enough to get any Age of Empires fans interested in the potential. Sony Online Entertainment announced today that they would offer the new Sony Station Access program. For a single monthly subscription of $21.99 gamers can access several popular MMOs including Everquest, The Matrix Online, Star Wars Galaxies, and Planetside. In all, over 10 titles in five active online worlds are included in the Station Access membership, and some titles, such as Everquest II, have been upgraded to allow more character slots. The Station Access Collection will be sold at retail for $39.99 and will offer five games for PC and a free 30-day trial of the Station Access subscription. Read more here.

Marble Blast Ulra is one of the first games developed for the new XBox Live Arcade on the XBox 360, and brings to mind nearly everything that was great about the golden era of shareware games, from try before you buy downloadable distribution models (which we like very much) to fun, simple gameplay based on equal parts thought and reflex. It\'s been a little while since the release of the Xbox 360 in November of last year, and some of us are starting to feel a little thirsty for new games. Ubisoft decided to remind us what we\'re all waiting for by releasing screenshots of their upcoming Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. This tactical shooter for both the Xbox and the Xbox 360 is looking to be - potentially - one of the best releases of the year. Of course, this wouldn\'t be the first Tom Clancy based game to look good, and then play poorly. Time will tell, but it doesn\'t hurt to salivate a little.

Slitherine Strategies recently hit GF! with the very respectable Legion Arena, a Roman-themed strategy war title with a shallow learning curve and some surprisingly good gameplay. Now, they are hard at work on Cult of Mithras, an expansion to Legion Arena that combines ancient history and ancient mythology. Now you\'ll pit Roman legions against armies of ghosts, shadow warriors, or fire demons, and fight for your gods as you battle your way to Elysium. Ubicom, who made the Stream Engine chip that is used to shape your broadband traffic in the D-Link DGL4300 Gamer Lounge router, has now released a free utility to check your online playability. The OPScore utility is a quick way to get a more robust fix on your online connection speed than most bandwidth testers, but it still runs in-browser (even if that browser is IE because of the ActiveX requirements, which is whack). Sony Online Entertainment sends word that Untold Legends: The Warrior\'s Code has gone gold and is on-target for a March 13 release date. That\'s almost exactly a year after the launch of the PSP and the first in the Untold Legends series. The first time out, Untold Legends was good, but a bit boneheaded and low on the charisma points. This time out, SOE has taken great pains to make Warrior\'s Code more appealing on virtually every level, plus it now features true online multiplayer. game: Legion Arena

While Legion Arena may have a lot to live up to in the historical strategy genre (like Rome: Total War), the war title from publisher Strategy First and developer Slitherin Soft. does a fairly good job of being its own game. Not as deep as Rome: Total War, but not as frustrating or as difficult, either. If you\'re looking for something to take you back in time but not drive you insane at the same time, Legion Arena offers a fun experience without the punishment for losing. Legion Arena operates on the concept that, sometimes, too deep a strategy title just isn\'t fun.
