As the Xbox 360 begins to show up around the country in retail kiosks gamers are frothing for a chance to get some hands-on time with the system. To assist you in finding a retail location with an Xbox 360 kiosk, someone has created a Frapper map that charts the locations of retail 360 kiosks by plugging into Google maps. Users can add waypoints, comments and images. There is a severe lack of imagery, though, so gamerss with phonecams, get ye to the local megalomart. And then post them up on the Xbox 360 Retail Kiosks Map.

Capcom today announced Resident Evil: Deadly Silence for Nintendo DS, a rendition of the original Resident Evil game that features both new and familiar gameplay, adapted to incorporate the handheld system\'s unique feature set. Resident Evil will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2006, marking a decade since the birth of the series that has been credited with popularizing and defining the survival horror genre. The Resident Evil series has sold more than 26 million units worldwide and is Capcom\'s highest selling series. Resident Evil: Deadly Silence will carry an \"M\" rating for mature audiences, and Capcom plans to release the game across North America in Q1 2006.

The creator of Trojan.DSBrick.A and B, Trojans that disable the Nintendo DS when installed, has issued a public apology. The Brick Trojan seeks out and deletes key system files from Nintendo\'s handheld, rendering it near worthless, or Bricked. Average DS owners have nothing to fear, since the Trojan can\'t spread without the active involvement of the user, but fellow members of the homebrew community have been in an uproar over the issue. DarkFader posted a public apology, along with instructions on how to repair a DS destroyed by the Trojan (to the best of our ability) on his website.

Trauma Center: Under the Knife is one of the most unique games available on a system that\'s known for offering some rather unique experiences. The medical puzzle game is challenging and addictive, and uses the DS stylus to make cutting someone open fun instead of just icky. It\'s mindblowingly difficult, which gives us that much more respect for medical professionals. It\'s also kind of weird: Why is the best move the \"cool\" move? Is it just us, or is it weird to prefer \"cool\" over \"good\" medical procedures? Oh well, we have a botox party to get to. Enjoy the review!

Rumors on the Internet have 2K Games announcing that Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will miss the Xbox 360 launch day by two weeks, giving the much anticipated title a new release date of December 5th, 2005. How reliable this information is remains to be seen; while a number of high profile game sites have reported Oblivion\'s delay, IGN Insider is now reporting that Bethesda denies any such thing. Questions about Oblivion\'s role in the Xbox 360 launch have been floating about the Internet since it failed to make Microsoft\'s previous list of confirmed same-day launch titles. Speculation that it could be released during the system\'s launch window instead, within a month or so of the actual system, is still very much valid.

A fair warning to all you potential PSP hackers in the world; there\'s a virus for your PSP that\'s masquerading as a firmware downgrade. With the release of an
actual firmware downgrader, it\'s easy to see why people might be tempted to download this little virus and install it in an attempt to run their PSPs back to a more flexible state. However, the virus - called PSPbrick - ends your PSP. By deleting key files, the Trojan destroys your PSP for all practical purposes. Since you can\'t undo the damage without a functioning PSP to hack, PSP owners are basically out of a
system. Of course, since hacking your PSP voids the warranty, Sony has announced that they\'re washing their hands of the problem. Such is the risk of
system hacking. For those of you without a hacked PSP, you needn\'t worry. The virus isn\'t capable of transferring between
systems without the user actively installing it.

The most expensive Xbox 360 bundle now exceeds $4500, and includes everything from the
system to a plasma TV. Even without the TV packed inside the box, bundles still run in the $2000 range, with pretty much every extra the Xbox 360 will launch with. Where will it stop? Every time we gamers decide that retailers have finally pushed the limit beyond anything close to reasonable, they go and prove that they can come up with something even better. Surely much to Sony\'s chagrin, those clever hackers have done it again. SonyXTeam has released a Firmware Downgrader for the PSP that will downgrade version 2.0 firmware to 1.50, which enables gamers who have recently bought the system to downgrade their firmware and use homebrew PSP utilities and play homebrew PSP games. This allows new PSP owners to join the rest of us playing Game Boy Advance games while we wait for something decent to come out. It sure beats watching movies on the thing!

We\'re just about two months from the release of the Xbox 360, and it\'s recommended that you consider pre-ordering a system if you\'re expecting to pick one up. But what game should you pre-order? What\'s going to be that Killer App that will do for the 360 what Halo did for the original Box? There\'s been a lot of speculation that Microsoft is putting time and effort into making Perfect Dark Zero the title that will drive the Xbox 360 off shelves. Whether or not the rumor is true, we have no way of telling. However, if you\'re hungry for some video of the Xbox 360 in action, here they are, apparently captured on the sly with a camcorder. Perfect Dark Zero gameplay.

Fortunately, we\'ve gotten hold of a crop of new screens, which demonstrate that FFXII will definitely be another gorgeous endeavor. And the hints we saw in 2004 of an action-rpg approach to combat, as well as a revamped summons system, have only made us more curious about what the Final Fantasy franchise has in store for us. The GP2X is the ultra-open source successor to the GP32, which enjoys a cult following and a remarkably high level of development. The GP2X is a Linux-based handheld that can run virtually any Linux application, including hundreds of exisiting games. A flood of games is sure to be ported rapidly for this thing. And game developers looking for an easy way into a powerful system (2x200mhz processors, 64mb of system memory) will love the fact that the SDK is included in every box! Plus, this plays movies, reads books, plays music, views photos, etc. We wanna play with it!

Namco has cut the ribbon on the
teaser website for Tales of Legendia, the latest in the popular Tales series of RPGs. The Tales games have become renowned over the years for their stylized cartoon graphics, their young, well-developed characters, and the games\' real-time battle
system. The website has basic information on the story, the characters, and the environments that you can expect to be adventuring through when the game releases come 2006. The last time we saw the Tales series, it was on the Nintendo GameCube in Tales of Symphonia, one of the best RPGs to ever appear on the
system. Or on any
system. Tales of Legendia will be released in winter of 2006 for the PS2.
game: Project Gotham Racing 3

Bizarre Creations\' Studio Updates has offered another interesting screenshot from Project Gotham Racing 3. The image shows the Xbox 360 running Project Gotham Racing 3 with a spectator crowd of 35,000 people at one time. Each spectator is individually created, making them far more than the simple cardboard cutouts that traditionally appear in this generation\'s racing titles. Apparently the system handled the task without slowing down in the slightest. The screen is from a technology test performed by one of the PGR3 team just to see how much the Xbox 360 could handle. Not bad. Of course, you won\'t be finding 35,000 spectators per track in the actual game, but it\'s nice to see what the system is capable of.
