2 New Demos on Live: Eternal Sonata and Vampire Rain

Just arrived on Xbox Live today are two new demos. Eternal Sonata from Namco Bandai is likely to satisfy all those eager for a JRPG on Microsoft\'s console, and Vampire Rain, which is, something else entirely. I personally am excited for Eternal Sonata, as I haven\'t played a JRPG in some time and it looks fantastic from previews. I\'m less excited for the universally panned Vampire Rain, where you\'re an elite special forces unit sent to thin out the vampire ranks. Impressions forthcoming.

The light-gun style genre might be set for a comeback in the near future. Nintendo is pressing new and unusual styles of interaction with the Wii, and shooting games reminiscent of the NES light zapper are sure to be a part of that. Not to be outdone, Namco was showing off the sequel to one of the most notable granddaddy\'s of the light-gun genre, Time Crisis 4. Traditionally released on the PS2, the Time Crisis series is looking true to form and has Rob excited after a bit of hands-on with the title at E3. Time Crisis keeps getting better with time.

Namco Shows Their Savvy With The Mobile Arcade

Namco has been steadily rolling out the latest games for the \"mobile arcade\" of the future. At E3, the Pac-Man Arcade was in full effect: Besides a sequel to everybody\'s favorite game, Pac-Man, there are tons of new games to download that include both retro and cutting edge content. As the mobile gaming space continues to open up, Namco has managed to make strides in every direction, from games to ring tones and branding gaming as a \"theme\" for your fave hipster handset. Namco Networks and the Future of Mobile Gaming: An Interview With Scott Rubin

Namco and Bandai have merged their companies, and the resulting reorganization has given birth to Namco Networks, a new company dedicated to mobile gaming. GF! got the chance to speak with Scott Rubin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Namco Networks in North America. Bandai and Namco Integrate North American Operations

Bandai and Namco have officially inegrated their North American operations. They are now known as Namco Bandai Games America Inc. It looks like Bandai will be moving into the former Namco Hometek headquarters in Santa Clara, California. Namco is well-known for classic games dating back to Pac Man and Dig Dug, but also for recent hits like the Soul Calibur series. Bandai holds several popular anime/manga/game franchises as well, including Gundam, Cowboy Bebop, .Hack, and many more. Click here for the official press release.

The sequel to last year\'s runaway cult fave Katamari Damacy, We Love Katamari brings a whole new visual style to the table, but plenty of the same quirky style, sense of humor, and awesome roll-it-up gameplay we love. Namco Opens Tales of Legendia Website

Namco has cut the ribbon on the teaser website for Tales of Legendia, the latest in the popular Tales series of RPGs. The Tales games have become renowned over the years for their stylized cartoon graphics, their young, well-developed characters, and the games\' real-time battle system. The website has basic information on the story, the characters, and the environments that you can expect to be adventuring through when the game releases come 2006. The last time we saw the Tales series, it was on the Nintendo GameCube in Tales of Symphonia, one of the best RPGs to ever appear on the system. Or on any system. Tales of Legendia will be released in winter of 2006 for the PS2.

Pac'n Roll Ships Today
